Open Ear and Water Resistant: Unboxing the Baseus XC1 Earbuds

I just got my hands on the new Baseus XC1 Earbuds, pretty standard unboxing experience overall. The packaging is sleek and makes you feel like you’re about to get something high-quality.

I tore off the tabs, and here’s what was inside: of course, the Baseus XC1 Earbuds themselves, perfectly tucked into their charging case. I also got a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, and a quick start guide. That’s because these are open-ear earbuds! They use an air-conductive design, so they just rest right on your ear instead of jamming into your ear canal. I’m looking forward to that all-day comfort.

Taking a closer look at the buds, the “sound by Bose” label on the case definitely caught my eye. The design is really unique—it’s like a stylish clip-on that just sits comfortably on the outside of your ear. Baseus says they designed these with a curved, adaptive fit and soft, breathable silicone to avoid irritation, and you can see the effort they put into the look. I can clearly spot the speaker part and where they charge in the case.

Pairing them was ridiculously easy. I just popped open the case lid, and boom—they instantly showed up on my phone’s Bluetooth! Super quick. These Baseus XC1 Earbuds promise a huge 8 hours of battery life, with an extra 40 hours from the case, and they’re even tough with an IP66 waterproof rating.

So far, Baseus XC1 Earbuds offers a great design and effortless setup. So far I’m liking the comfort and sound of these. Will probably be my new daily ear clips just because they’re so comfortable.
